A story born in the field
It all started with managing a Kampot pepper farm, then co-managing the largest Cambodian pepper and spice company. Years spent in the field, in direct contact with producers, understanding each step — from flower to dried grain.
Everywhere, the same observation was clear: buyers from large groups only sought the lowest price. The best producers were the least paid. The world sold more than 2,000 tons of "Kampot pepper" per year, while certified plantations produced only 100. It was this reality that forged our conviction: it was possible to do things differently.
